What do we do?

Micropraxis Ltd provides computer consultancy services for anyone who needs a professional software engineer who is able to acclimatise to the client's project quickly, pick up new technologies and work to high standards. Particular areas of expertise are:

• Project and team management

• Tools, utilities and middleware

This list is not definitive though; we are willing to discuss any software contract role. Every piece of work we have taken on so far has involved acquiring new skills under time pressure.

Example projects

GAJIT - Genetic Algorithm library in Java

This is a collection of classes produced partly as a port of an existing C++ Genetic Algorithm library. The original library was published under the GNU public licence, so this one is too. It is offered as a starting point for anyone wanting to explore GAs using Java, and can also serve as an example of code produced by Micropraxis.

Esperanto tool for PalmOS

Micropraxis has produced a tool for PalmOS-based PDAs that enables the display and entry of the accented characters specific to Esperanto. Click here to go to the page for this tool.
