Looking at online census material with help from Bramble the dog, November 2006

Welcome to my home page!

I use this site to publish the results of my family history research and keep up to date with my own family - both human and animals!  Stratton is my maiden name and I tend to use that for professional purposes and of course for family history research. But I am otherwise known by my married name of Faupel following my marriage to Matthew Christian Faupel in 2004. You can see details and photographs of our special day here.  When not hunting for family history details, I'm a fully-qualified Archivist working for two Cambridge Colleges, Clare and Selwyn.  However from March 2008 I will be on maternity leave for a year.

If you would like to contact me, please use my personal e-mail address: elizabeth at faupel.org and please insert @ in appropriate place! That's an attempt to deal with unwanted spam!
