I use this site to publish the results of my family history research and keep up to date with my own family - both human and animals! Stratton is my maiden name and I tend to use that for professional purposes and of course for family history research. But I am otherwise known by my married name of Faupel following my marriage to Matthew Christian Faupel in 2004. You can see details and photographs of our special day here. When not hunting for family history details, I'm a fully-qualified Archivist working for two Cambridge Colleges, Clare and Selwyn. However from March 2008 I will be on maternity leave for a year.
If you would like to contact me, please use my personal e-mail address: elizabeth at faupel.org and please insert @ in appropriate place! That's an attempt to deal with unwanted spam!
Our first baby, Thomas Alwyne Faupel, was born on 25th March 2008 at 12.32 (lunchtime) weighing 7lbs 8oz or 2.14 kg.

You can see some more photographs of Thomas here and I will aim to add further photos at regular intervals... So please take a look later on...
I use a family history database called Family Tree Maker. You can start looking at my family tree from my record, from the list of individuals, or from the list of surnames.
Matthew and I were married in September 2004. Notes and photographs of our big day are available here:
I am gradually collecting photographs of my family, past and present. Thank you to all my relatives who have let me borrow their photographs.
For photographs of my nephews and niece, take a look here!Or you can see some of our menagerie here.
